On October 13, Baoding Radio Management Bureau received a complaint about radio interference from the Baoding workshop of the Beijing communications section of the railway, stating that from the afternoon of October 12, the high-speed railway GSM-R communication system of Baoding East Railway Station was interfered by unknown signals, which seriously interfered with the railway GSM. -R downward signal, causing many high-speed trains to slow down, seriously affecting the safety of high-speed rail operation According to his preliminary judgment, it may be the interference caused by the downlink signal of a certain communication operator's base station, and requested the Baoding Radio Administration Bureau to investigate and deal with it.

After receiving the complaint, Baoding Radio Management Bureau attached great importance to it, and immediately dispatched monitoring and law enforcement personnel together with staff from the Baoding workshop of the Beijing communications section to carry out investigations around Baoding East Station, and at the same time communicated with relevant communications operators’ technical personnel.

After testing and positioning near Baoding East Station, it was found that two cell phone jammer were placed on the roof of the exit of Station Plaza B. The railway staff of Baoding East Station learned that they were not equipment installed at the station. After the law enforcement officers removed the two jammers, the interference disappeared, and the railway GSM-R communication system resumed normal communication, eliminating the hidden safety hazards caused by the interference, and effectively ensuring the safety of railway radio communication.
